What’s the role?
Are you a strategic thinker who thrives on solving complex client challenges? Do you enjoy developing creative media solutions that drive real business results? If you have a passion for collaboration, storytelling, and connecting brands with their audiences in meaningful ways, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
We’re looking for a Client Solutions Manager to join our team at News Corp Australia, playing a key role in delivering integrated, insight-driven media solutions that make an impact. This is a client-focused, fast-moving role that requires someone with strong commercial acumen, creativity, and the ability to turn ideas into effective campaigns.
What’s the role?
As a Client Solutions Manager, you’ll be at the heart of media campaign development, working closely with our Sales, Strategy, Digital, and Product teams to craft solutions that align with client objectives and drive revenue growth. This role sits at the intersection of creativity, strategy, and execution, offering a dynamic mix of problem-solving, campaign design, and stakeholder management.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Developing Strategic Solutions – Work closely with sales and strategy teams to create bespoke, insight-driven marketing campaigns that leverage News Corp Australia’s extensive portfolio of brands, data, and media channels.
Solving Complex Client Challenges – Think beyond traditional advertising solutions, developing innovative and commercially viable media campaigns that address unique business needs.
Managing Briefs & Pitching Ideas – Collaborate with internal teams to respond to briefs with compelling, tailored media solutions. Confidently present ideas and proposals to clients and agencies.
Owning the Campaign Process – Oversee the workflow of campaign development from ideation to pitch, ensuring seamless coordination between teams and handing over campaigns to the Campaign Delivery team for delivery.
Bringing Data & Insights to Life – Work with research and audience intelligence team members to extract insights that inform campaign strategies and strengthen client recommendations.
Building Strong Relationships – Act as a trusted partner for clients and internal stakeholders, helping to identify opportunities and provide guidance on how to best leverage our media assets.
Staying Ahead of Industry Trends – Keep up with shifts in consumer behavior, media consumption, and category trends to help shape proactive and reactive client opportunities.
Who are you?
We’re after someone with 2-3+ years of experience in the media industry who can confidently manage briefs, problem-solve, and build strong relationships with both internal teams and external clients.
The ideal candidate will have:
Experience in the media, advertising, or marketing industries - Ideally within a sales, media strategy, product, or integration team. Agency experience in communications planning and/or media planning is highly desirable but not essential.
Strong campaign development and execution skills - Proven ability to create and implement integrated media solutions that drive revenue and client success.
Problem-solving mindset - Ability to think creatively, leveraging data and insights from the Insights & Strategy team members to shape compelling solutions that address client needs.
Confidence & Communication - Strong presentation skills and the ability to influence, negotiate, and collaborate effectively with clients, agencies, and internal teams.
Project Management Skills - Experience juggling multiple projects, meeting deadlines, and using tools like Trello, Google Workspace, and Excel/PowerPoint to stay organised.
A Results-Driven Approach - Ability to track success & improvement metrics, and identify opportunities for business growth.
