Job Title: Stand-up Forklift - 1st Shift

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated stand-up forklift operator for our receiving department. This role requires constant movement, primarily operating a forklift. Occasional light housekeeping in the work area may be necessary. Applicants must possess basic math skills and be proficient in operating an RF Scan gun. The position requires the use of steel-toed boots and involves working in a cold storage environment.

Shift 6am until finish (9-11 hours of work)

Responsibilities

• Operate a stand-up forklift in the receiving department.

• Utilize an RF Scan gun for inventory management.

• Perform light housekeeping duties when not operating the forklift.

• Ensure efficient and accurate loading and unloading of goods.

• Maintain basic math skills for inventory calculations.

Essential Skills

• Experience operating a stand-up forklift for 1-2 years or more.

• Proficiency with an RF Scan gun.

• Basic math skills.

• Ability to work efficiently and remain dedicated to task completion.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with an electric pallet jack (preferred).

• Receiving experience is a plus.

Work Environment

This role is within a food distribution company where the temperature is maintained at 35 degrees at all times. Employees are provided with jackets and cotton gloves. Steel-toed boots are required, and you may wear your own sweatshirts and hats. No medical certifications are required.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Swedesboro, New Jersey.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00
