We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Specialist in Swedesboro, New Jersey. The role involves managing customer accounts, processing credit applications, and utilizing accounting software systems. As part of our team, you will be instrumental in ensuring the efficiency and accuracy of our receivables processes.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently process credit applications from customers

• Manage and update customer account records

• Resolve customer inquiries related to their accounts in a timely manner

• Monitor customer account activity and take appropriate action when necessary

• Implement accounting software systems for processing and tracking receivables

• Handle B2B collections effectively

• Manage cash applications to ensure accurate allocation

• Maintain an accurate record of Accounts Receivable

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Accounts Receivable role or similar financial position

• Proficiency in using Accounting Software Systems

• Demonstrable experience with collections

• Capability to handle Cash Applications effectively

• Solid understanding and experience of Accounts Receivable (AR) processes

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field is preferred

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Strong oral and written communication skills

• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Good time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
