Swansea Public School Van Driver in Swansea, Massachusetts
Join the Swansea Public Schools transportation team as a Van Driver, working approximately 27.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday. This position offers the option for benefits, including health insurance, and we are willing to support and train candidates to obtain the 7D School Pupil Transport Certificate. Safety is our top priority, and we are looking for responsible individuals to help ensure the well-being of our students every day. Qualifications Required: Education: High school diploma or equivalent Experience: Three continuous years of driving experience Must have a safe driving record and be able to provide documentation Other: Valid driver\'s license Must be at least 21 years old Successfully complete CORI and fingerprint-based background checks Successfully complete substance abuse screening Must be able to safely transport students to and from school, following assigned routes/schedules and adhere to all traffic laws Qualifications Preferred: Education: Prior experience operating a school transportation vehicle Other: Possession of a valid 7D School Pupil Transport Certificate
