The Workforce Solutions – Candidate Services (WSCS) Team is a skilled, customer obsessed, business partner hiring across multiple locations for entry-level warehouse and fulfillment associate roles. We are looking for exceptionally talented, bright and driven people to help build the future Amazon talent pipeline.
The WSCS Quality Team is looking for a Quality Specialist to design, develop, improve and maintain quality assurance processes. WSCS supports High Volume Hiring for Tier 1 Associates in multiple countries across EU and UK. This role is both a collaborator focused on performing quality checks on multiple tasks, creating new audits for central operations projects and responsible for reviewing and revising new process documentation. The ideal candidate needs to be a subject matter expert on organizational business metrics (quality and productivity KPIs), able to work autonomously with internal and external program managers under minimal guidance and direction, build a story which summarizes holistic quality performance, identify solutions and implement the necessary actions. It is imperative to lead the actions and drive the required changes which lead to improved performance and create a culture that raises the bar. To be successful in this role, you need to pair analytical skills and a data-driven outlook with strong program management skills.
Key job responsibilities
• Monitor and report Quality metrics, dive deep and identify quality trends/root cause for identified issues
• Discover and innovate with senior leadership, business partners, and stakeholders to understand quality business goals and devise solutions to improve processes and programs.
• Implement and own action plans for quality/process improvement initiatives
• Create quality audits for existing and new process to support stakeholders in efforts to drive a defect free hiring experience for all Tier 1 associates
• Develops and maintains relationship with both internal and external stakeholders to build successful long-term partnerships
• Collaborate cross functionally to ensure procedure reviews are completed within timeline and expected changes are implemented
• Independently work with stakeholders understanding their requirement, dive deep on to their process/task and propose necessary quality mechanism to meet the requirement
• Analyzes daily, weekly, and monthly reporting of Key Performance Indicators, provides meaningful solutions to leadership and performance improvement initiatives
• Assist in SOP review and new process development to ensure quality
• Build expertise on the hiring process and identify opportunities to setup new audit mechanisms to address process gaps
• Provide clear insight into performance drivers and the levers which impact performance
• Support/consult with the necessary functions to ensure new processes are successfully scoped and rolled out with appropriate documentation
Basic Qualifications
• Microsoft Office tools and SQL experience
• Ability to manage confidential and sensitive candidate information and adhere to strict confidentiality standards
• Ability to work in a global environment and interact with global stakeholders
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in staffing or human resources administration, quality assurance or a related field, or equivalent years of education and related experience
• Working knowledge of Salesforce or other Application Tracking System (ATS)
• Comfortable working in a fast paced, highly collaborative, dynamic work environment
• Proficiency in SQL, Microsoft Excel, Quicksight and SharePoint
• Proficiency in building Python based automations • Ability to interpret data and make business recommendations
• Great attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
