Role Summary:

Planning department is responsible master production schedule planning, material planning and order fulfillment to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of the order and project delivery. Duties include a specific focus on the materials and order status in the required lead time, ensuring the OTD and shipment target.

Responsibilities & Requirements:

• Take lead in the planning and order fulfillment function including planning (demand, supply, OTD, Inventory), project management and order fulfillment.

• Create and monitor production and project delivery schedule and prioritizes orders for production optimization and on time shipment.

• Ensure daily production requirements are achieved to meet customer demand.

• SOP set and review. Work closely with different departments, senior management, customers and sales to make accurate monthly and quarterly booking & sales forecast including Booking, sales, OI, PWC and DSI (inventory) . Develop and maintain the forecast to meet yearly budget, monitor the forecast daily .

• Data collect & analysis for operational management, finance to meet the operation’s objectives. decision making to support material supply and finished goods demand .

• Follow-up as required with cross-departments to expedite flow of materials and documents to meet production schedule and customer expectation. Collaborate with Production, Supply chain, QC, warehouse and others.

• Identify bottlenecks and ensure proper utilization of all resources to achieve operational targets.

• Conduct regular meetings to keep track of planning & production schedules.

• Responsible for addressing warranty & customer’s demand and needs at order lifecycle

• Develop and achieve departmental/company goals and controls. Make suggestions for improvement in areas of cost reduction, processes, quality and productivity.

• Define the performance expectations and communicate to team members clearly, articulate /clarify the criteria for success.

• Encouraging continuous improvement in all processes and services.

• To strive department KPI’s where applicable.

• Experience in ERP system preferably Oracle and Microsoft Office products with strong computer skills.

• Other duties as assigned

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Relevant experience within related industry including knowledge of industry practices and standards.

• Proven experience working planning management for manufacturing Industry preferably middle size to large size mechanical company .

• Excellent ability in reading Engineering drawings / documents / Reports.

• Essential English language skills to communicate with oversea colleagues

• Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.

• Sound knowledge of material requirements planning (MRP) and related software.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Effective communication skills.

• High level of presentation and reporting skills.

• Flexible, self-motivated individual with a positive and proactive approach and strong customer service ethic.

• Detail orientated and data focused.

• BS or BA Degree in relevant field and 5-7 years relevant experience
