UL, LLC Project Coordinator in Suzhou, China

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project goals, scope, deliverables, and business development.

  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure everyone understands their roles and responsibilities by facilitating regular project meetings, providing progress updates, identifying potential impediments, and soliciting input from team members.

  • Identify potential project risks to ensure smooth project execution and proactively monitor project activities to identify deviations from plans and provide feedback to engineering supervisors or managers as needed to assist in taking corrective action.

  • Assist the engineering supervisor or manager in effectively allocating resources based on project needs and the availability of team members to ensure the resources and support required for project execution.

  • Support certification managers in continuous improvement techniques, particularly internal policies, project processes, and document management.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and meeting minutes, and generate comprehensive project reports for senior management, highlighting progress, issues, and recommendations.

  • Responsible for organizing external training activities, including but not limited to planning training activities, collecting student information, coordinating training schedules and related exam registration.

  • In collaboration with the BD and sales colleagues, responsible for project creation, monitoring project status, generating billing events, and following up on invoice status according to UL Solutions fulfillment systems.

  • Support sales colleagues in general quotation, order management and contract management and communication, and other sales and marketing support activities.

  • Support sales colleagues in completing regular internal processes on specific projects.

  • Support sales colleagues and BD through bidding activities and subsequent procurement processes.

  • Support sales colleagues and BD on marketing initiatives, like certification ceremony, workshop, seminar, etc.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • 4-year university education

  • Equivalent work experience

  • Good written and spoken English

  • Proficient in the use of MS Office suite

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to change

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
