Philips Director, MR Principal System Architect in Suzhou, China

Job summary & overview (Purposes):

Responsible for the creation, implementation, and life-cycle management of the system architecture in MR domain. Driving harmonization and leveraging common and/or domain specific platforms and technology choices. Devising, driving, and contributing to the regulatory strategy for their area. Challenge & contribute to, business constraints and processes related to system architecture, to further improve upon the delivery on Philips’ strategy.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

·Translation of user needs and requirements (including clinical, serviceability, reliability and manufacturability) into MR system & technology requirements.Develop technology and technical solutions towards customers’ needs.

·Harmonizes common features, system functions and improvement solutions across relevant products.

·Lead system-level design reviews.

·Leads trouble-shooting activities in system-level defect analysis and remediation during System Integration, Verification and Validation phases.

Job Requirements & Skills:

·Bachelor degree or above in physics, electric engineering, mechanical Deep understanding of overall MR technology, including component technology, system integration, MR physics and imaging quality.

·Good knowledge of electromagnetic theory and familiar with its simulation tools.

·Intensive experience in MR preferred.

·Familiar with the typical MR clinical applications.

·Familiar with the simulation tools.

·Demonstrated ability to influence indirect resources.

·Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.

·Excellent technical writing and presentation skills to multiple levels of management. Fluency in English.
