CMF Technical Manager

Department: CMF Engineering

Reports To: Manager, CMF-AME

Summary:

The CMF Technical Manager is responsible for leading and managing plastic surface treatment, focusing on 3D surface treatment by laser texturing. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of CMF (color, materials, and finish) principles, as well as expertise in advanced laser texturing technologies. The CMF Technical Manager will work closely with the product development team to ensure that CMF requirements are met and that products are designed and manufactured to the standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the advanced laser texturing surface treatment technology

  • Develop and implement CMF strategies for new and existing products

  • Work with the product development team to ensure that CMF requirements are met

  • Oversee the development and process requirements of advanced laser texturing process

  • Stay up-to-date on the latest CMF trends and technologies

  • Identify and develop new opportunities for using advanced laser texturing in product development

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, materials or mechanical engineering, or a related field, laser engineering is a plus

  • 5+ years of experience in CMF, with experience on advanced laser texturing technology

  • Strong understanding of CMF principles and best practices

  • Experience with laser texturing equipment and processes

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Strong project management skills

  • English as working language
