Howmet Aerospace Account Manager in Suzhou, China

  • Take charge of the coverage and penetration of key accounts, ensuring that our products are effectively promoted and sold.

  • Provide sales, technical, and application training to customers, leveraging your expertise in the industry.

  • Allocate dedicated time and attention to strategic accounts and distributors, ensuring their needs are met and sales are maximized.

  • Lead efforts to penetrate new business target accounts and industry segments, identifying and capitalizing on new opportunities.

  • Conduct customer sales calls, product demonstrations and deliver presentations to showcase the features and benefits of our goods.

  • Monitor sales progress, tracking performance against objectives and implementing strategies to drive sales growth.

  • Collaborate with Sales & Marketing Managers to develop industry-specific sales, marketing, and business plans, as well as forecasts and promotional programs.

  • Take ownership of the sales and market development in Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Anhui, utilizing your knowledge of the local market to drive success.

Product Knowledge: At a minimum, technical understanding. Easy to understand Huck products, the features, benefits, and applications. Understanding of the value proposition and can pass on to potential customers.

Sales Experience: Prior sales experience is highly valuable, but not essential. I would like a candidate who presents as a likely relationship builder. Nice to have a record of achieving sales targets, however, CV’s are full of these.

Relationship Building: Look for a candidate who excels in building and maintaining relationships with customers. They should be personable, professional, and capable of understanding and addressing customer needs. Strong people skills, easy to build rapport and establish relationships. Good listener. Good networker. High likeability.

Self-Motivation: Candidates who are self-motivated, driven to achieve sales targets, and capable of working independently.

Problem-Solving Skills: A successful salesperson should be able to identify customer challenges or pain points. Look for individuals who are empathetic and persuasive. Adaptable, and resourceful in problem-solving situations.

Team Player: Candidate who is naturally collaborative and contributes to a positive work environment. They are positive likeable person with a “can do” attitude.
