The Senior Manager, Information Security Operations, is responsible for overseeing and guiding a team of information security analysts to ensure the protection of our organization’s information systems and data. This role leads the continuous development of people, processes, and technologies required for the implementation of security measures to safeguard against cyber threats.

RESPONSIBILITIES, other duties may be assigned.

  • Develop and implement comprehensive information security policies, procedures, and plans.

  • Develop and implement routine KPI reports showing the effectiveness of the Security Analyst team, tools, and processes.

  • Manage a team of information security analysts, providing guidance and mentorship.

  • Conduct risk assessments and security audits, and ensure any gaps are addressed promptly.

  • Oversee the response to information security incidents, including investigation and reporting.

  • Stay up to date with the latest security systems, standards, authentication protocols, and products.

  • Collaborate with IT department to align security management with business goals and regulatory requirements.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or equivalent experience.

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in information security, with at least 4 years in a managerial role.

  • Professional information security certification (CISSP, CISM, or equivalent) is preferred.

  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Strong understanding of information security principles and practices, as well as experience managing a team of security professionals.

  • 10% Travel required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with cloud security, security analytics platforms, and incident response infrastructure.

  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements related to information security.

  • Ability to translate technical security threats into business risks and strategies.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills as well as excellent organization, multi-tasking, prioritizing, and teamwork skills.

  • Excellent coordination skills between multiple stakeholders, third-party contractors, consultants, and clients.

  • Ability to maintain positive relationships and communication with staff, management, and customers.
