Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to respond to production floor maintenance calls and ensure the continuous operation of our equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, and will be responsible for performing both preventative and reactive maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Respond to production floor maintenance calls from machine operators on various equipment.

• Perform assigned maintenance tasks and machine breakdown repairs to ensure continuous production.

• Attend and participate in crew transition meetings and daily meetings with other Maintenance Technicians.

• Read blueprints, instruction manuals, and mechanical drawings.

• Use measuring instruments such as calipers and multimeters.

• Rework and rebuild mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

• Perform electrical troubleshooting on 480-volt 3-phase systems, including blown fuses and rewiring motors under qualified supervision.

• Set up and operate various types of production equipment and machine tools, including lathes, mills, and welders, to make or rework required machine parts.

• Perform basic PLC troubleshooting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• 3-5+ years of industrial maintenance experience

• Proven problem-solving skills with a mechanical understanding of machinery

• Some experience in forklift operations

• Ability to use a multi-meter

• Basic math and computer skills

• Effective communication skills

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $72000.00 - $75000.00/yr.
