Job Purpose:

The Services Procurement Specialist Indirect Procurement Buyer plays an integral role by developing and implementing proven sourcing strategies while partnering with collaborators, anticipates risk, identify key areas of opportunity to drive growth and efficiencies by selecting core suppliers and validating they provide efficient cost, quality and other measurable results.

What you will do:

Responsible for sourcing and negotiating a portfolio of goods and services, to meet the requirements of the Hub business collaborators, Marketing Services and Business Services Spend Categories while optimizing cost and processes. The individual will also undertake proactive spend analysis and research to identify potential future tactical buying and strategic sourcing opportunities. This includes the following:

  • Performing buying activities (RFP, Analysis, etc.)

  • Actively communicating with the business partners to ensure that their purchase requirements are met

  • Using Ariba eSourcing application to complete bidding events (RFP, RFI, RFQ, or reverse auction)

  • Maintaining an awareness of changing market conditions

  • Performing periodic spend analysis to find opportunities for local and Division projects

  • Leading spend assigned spend categories and supporting global projects

  • Conducting periodic key collaborator meetings with business partners to review local spend category strategy and activities

  • Leverage supply base opportunities across managed portfolio

  • Managing, resolving and communicating on local quality and service issues.

Who you are:

  • Bachelor of Arts or Science in Sourcing, Business, Finance, or comparable discipline is required.

  • Proficient English is a must have

  • Understanding of procurement, spend category management and project management methodologies, e-procurement processes and negotiation

  • High degree of problem solving skills and the ability to drive change with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • SAP experience is desired.

  • Influential communicator and have global business perspective

  • Highly organized planner
