As our Engineer IV, Software , you’ll support HID’s success by:

  • iOS (C, C++, Obj C, Swift) and Android (Java, Kotlin) developments in the context of mobile applications relying on proprietary cryptographic SDKs for authentication and transaction signing

  • Supporting other team members for development on other clients under team responsibility: macOS clients (C, C++, Obj C, Swift) and Windows (.NET, UWP, C#)

  • Develop/Code Review/Test/Deliver/Maintain/Troubleshoot several productions SDKs and applications available on various stores (App Store, Play Store, Huawei Store and Microsoft Store)

  • Understanding the current systems, interact with teams and architects to maintain and optimize app and SDK implementation

  • Implementing Agile methodologies in place: Scrum and SAFe.

    What we will love about your background:

  • Experience in implementing in native languages C/C++, Objective C, Java

  • Experience in architectural patterns MVC and/or MVVM

  • Experience in secure application development practices and security best practices

  • Knowledge in a Source Control Management system and a defect tracking system (we are using Git/Bitbucket and JIRA)

  • Knowledge in RESTful API would be a plus

  • Knowledge in Cross-platform frameworks would be a plus (React Native, Dart, Flutter, .Net…)

  • Knowledge in a CI/CD orchestration tool would be a plus (we are using Jenkins)

  • Any other programming skills or interest would be welcome: Python, Swift, Kotlin, C#...

  • Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

  • Familiar with operating systems, such as Windows, etc.

    Your Experience and Education include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)

  • Around 2 years of working experience in development

  • Ability to effectively communicate in the English language, both verbally and in writing

  • Ability to read and interpret technical journals, specifications, international technical standards, etc.
