SULLIVAN TERESA M Office Assistant/Support Staff in Superior, Nebraska

Seeking an individual to provide administrative support to professional staff and clients. Full-time seasonal to part-time. Hourly rate based on experience.

Essential functions:

  • Establish rapport with clients by answering phone calls, scheduling appointments and greeting clients
  • Generate various in-house forms and update spreadsheets
  • Assemble and log tax returns and other filings
  • Discuss completed returns with clients and obtain client signatures
  • Input, maintain and update client account information
  • Assist in client bookkeeping and payroll functions
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with attention to detail

Competencies:

  • Proficient with general office technology (copiers and printers)
  • Proficient in a number of software applications, including MS Office applications (Excel, Word and Outlook)
  • Experience with QuickBooks is preferred but not required
  • General knowledge of tax filings is preferred but not required
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Possess integrity, be organized, courteous and friendly

Qualifications:

  • Strong customer service skills
  • Strong organizational skills and highly skilled in accuracy
  • Ability to prioritize tasks
  • 2-5 years experience preferred
  • Desire to work in a public accounting firm
