SULLIVAN TERESA M Office Assistant/Support Staff in Superior, Nebraska
Seeking an individual to provide administrative support to professional staff and clients. Full-time seasonal to part-time. Hourly rate based on experience.
Essential functions:
- Establish rapport with clients by answering phone calls, scheduling appointments and greeting clients
- Generate various in-house forms and update spreadsheets
- Assemble and log tax returns and other filings
- Discuss completed returns with clients and obtain client signatures
- Input, maintain and update client account information
- Assist in client bookkeeping and payroll functions
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with attention to detail
Competencies:
- Proficient with general office technology (copiers and printers)
- Proficient in a number of software applications, including MS Office applications (Excel, Word and Outlook)
- Experience with QuickBooks is preferred but not required
- General knowledge of tax filings is preferred but not required
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Possess integrity, be organized, courteous and friendly
Qualifications:
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong organizational skills and highly skilled in accuracy
- Ability to prioritize tasks
- 2-5 years experience preferred
- Desire to work in a public accounting firm
