American Express Global Commercial Services (GCS) is the global leader in the Commercial Payments Solutions space and continues to be an exciting and fast-growing business. To maintain this success, the organization must accelerate sales and drive profitable charge volume growth. The Global Sales Enablement, Pricing & Transformation (SPT) team within GCS is instrumental in ensuring achievement of these objectives. SPT’s mission is to power GCS growth through the provision of informed pricing, sales enablement, and process transformation. The Training Manager position offers you the opportunity to be part of this multifaceted organization and help GCS navigate towards growth.

How you'll make an impact:

The Training Analyst is responsible for using data, performance insights, and internal customer feedback to identify training needs across the sales and account development lifecycles. The Training Analyst will support and evolve the training strategy to meet internal customer training needs and help reinforce trainings. They will be a thought leader who will deliver an effective training plan and the professional development of Colleagues across all segments of US Small Middle Enterprises.

Responsibilities:

  • Creates engaging and interactive learning content, including presentations, e-learning modules, videos, simulations, and other multimedia materials that enhance the learning experience.

  • Conducts dynamic training sessions, workshops, and seminars using various delivery methods, including in-person, virtual, and blended learning, ensuring effective knowledge transfer and skill development.

  • Collects data to support measurement strategy post training and helps to ensure collection materials, including Webex reporting, navigator reports, poll everywhere data, etc.

  • Proactively looks for opportunities to support segment/sub-segment strategies set by the Training Manager and Training Director

  • Monitors project schedules weekly and as needed to ensure project templates and segment/sub segment calendars are kept up to date.

  • Strategize and align with director and manager on Continuing Education needs and topics for assigned segment.

  • Help team with processes that will scale to meet the demands of a growing sales organization

  • Analyze how to evolve training materials, topics, and delivery methods

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Strong facilitation skills, engaging style in front of both small and large audiences, strong written and oral communication skills

  • Ability to identify learning and performance improvement need

  • Excellent discernments and results orientation

  • Outstanding relationship building skills with proven track record to effectively collaborate, partner, and advise senior leaders, internal business partners, external vendors, and customer facing colleagues to uncover insights and build consensus

  • Strong presence with senior leaders and ability to influence at all levels

  • Outstanding relationship building skills with consistent track record to effectively collaborate, partner, and coordinate with leaders

  • Ability to lead projects, meet deadlines, excel in a sophisticated, fast paced, multi-team environment with constantly evolving business demands

  • Enthusiastic, fun, flexible and demonstrates a willingness to learn!

  • Partner with key business partners (i.e., Marketing, Performance & Insights, Product, etc.) to evolve training materials, topics, and delivery methods

  • Lead face to face New Hire classes and continuing education trainings and curated curriculum in office

  • Support New Hire classes in person 5 days a week for 8-hour days

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

  • 2 years experience in adult learning and training development and delivery, including effectively leading and facilitating training programs

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Training experience in a tele sales or call center environment

  • Experience with developing successful programs to accelerate the performance

  • Experience using creative tactics and programs to drive the adoption of new digital capabilities

  • Experience in a highly regulated industry

  • Experience with One.Force, Marketing.Force and Navigator

Qualifications

Salary Range: $55,000.00 to $110,000.00 annually bonus benefits

The above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we’ll consider your location, experience, and other job-related factors.
