As a QAE you will develop, execute and maintain software and scripts to the products. You will engage with an experienced cross-disciplinary staff to conceive, design and develop innovative consumer products.

You must be responsive, flexible and able to succeed within an open collaborative peer environment. You will need to be able to work efficiently and effectively in a fun, fast-paced dynamic team environment.

You are expected to have industry-leading technical abilities that enable you to significantly improve product . You should have a combination of solid in-depth knowledge of Assurance, solid understanding of the operating system software, as well as knowledge of object oriented design principles. The software that you will build should expose defects in production level code as well as defects at the component and feature integration prospective.

You should command the skill to communicate clearly and effectively. Candidates will need to define suites, cases as well as design tools for unit, functional, and performance testing in a programmatic manner. In addition, you will also have the opportunity to propose improvements to our existing processes and tools in order to improve the team’s speed, and efficiency.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of quality assurance engineering experience

  • 4+ years of delivering test frameworks, test tools, leading the QA projects and initiatives experience

  • Knowledge of QA methodology and tools, with demonstrated experience in an QAE role

  • Experience in manual testing

  • Experience in automation testing

  • Master's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of delivering test frameworks, test tools, leading the QA projects and initiatives experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $120,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $207,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
