Job Title: Software EngineerJob Description

Seeking a Software Engineer to engage in software design and development for infotainment software in embedded Linux and Android systems. The ideal candidate will review requirements, design, implement, and program, as well as create test cases. Daily interactions with the development and Dev QA teams, as well as occasional meetings with software suppliers, are expected.

Hard Skills

• 7+ years in Software Development

• Advanced programming and debugging skills with C, C++/11/14

• Experience with development tools and IDE such as VS Code, Android Studio, git, JIRA, CMake

• Working knowledge with security concepts such as crypto libraries, File-Based Encryption, OpenSSL libraries, and TEE (preferred)

• Understanding of Linux OS Concepts

• Familiarity with Android Open Source Platform programming

• Ability to navigate and debug through complex existing code base in C, C++

Soft Skills

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Job Type

This is a contract position with a duration of 12 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Sunnyvale, California and some days remote.

Work Environment

The work environment features team meetings for software development processes in an open office concept. The role involves sitting at a desk and requires daily interaction with a team of 5-10 people.
