Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 10 years of experience in customer-facing experience, translating customer needs into solutions for enterprise customers.

  • Experience in global sales leadership, direct sales or business development.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 15 years of experience in managing technical projects.

  • 10 years of experience in leading a team in a dynamic environment.

  • Experience with enterprise go-to-market motions, ability to define or execute go-to-market processes, analytics, and reporting to scale the business.

  • Ability to learn, understand, and work with new and emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the cloud or information technology space.

  • Ability to collaborate across organizational boundaries, build relationships, import or export talent and ideas to achieve broader organizational goals and to deliver a business and technical pitch to the c-suite and board levels.

  • Excellent presentation skills.

As the Global Practice Lead, you will be responsible for setting the Product Portfolio business strategy across Google Cloud. You will drive product line business goals by implementing business processes and monitoring progress to make recommendations to Go-To-Market (GTM) leadership for implementation. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, marketing, and regional Go-To-Market teams, to help establish and develop the portfolio of solutions and the subsequent business processes that fuel regional business growth. You will collaborate with the market leads team, understand and react to industry trends in cloud that address core market opportunities aligned to the product roadmap. You will partner with engineering and business teams to ensure a good understanding of the overall product portfolio pipeline and drive strategic agreements in partnership with engineering and business. You will liaise with executive leadership to report on business progress, make recommendations for acceleration, and drive solution performance.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $195,000-$278,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Partner with product general managers as the global business point of contact, provide visibilit or insights into product performance through agreed upon scorecard metrics, and own pipeline creation and progression metrics, business forecasting, skills and headcount deployment, win or loss analysis, and annual planning.

  • Serve as the interlock between product and regional business teams, ensuring compliance with a global solutions portfolio management process across all solutions development efforts.

  • Share best practices and feedback across the regional sales leadership, ensure the regional business teams have the latest portfolio and engaged updates.

  • Engage on strategic agreements in partnership with the product and business teams, ensure the right resources or capabilities are being leveraged.

  • Partner closely with engineering, product, and global sales strategy leaders, as well as executive leadership to ensure product strategy alignment across functions.
