Job Description:

• Develop the Debugging and Observability experiences to help users debug with Logs, Traces and Errors.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Observability UI components, APIs and data serving backend across Logs, Traces, Error Insights, and Rpc Replay functionality.

• Fix bugs and resolve issues to keep the products in a healthy operational state.

• Write design docs, and code to develop Debugging and Observability functionality.

• Fix bugs and resolve customer issues for the products owned by the team.

• Prototype ideas to run user research study or customer pilots.

Mandatory:

• 5+ years of frontend development experience with Angular.

• 5+ years of backend development experience with Java.

• Good working knowledge of software development, and debugging techniques (using logging, tracing and error handling).

• Ability to write SQL and help set up dashboard metrics related to feature and product usage would be a plus.

• Exposure to Go and C++ language development would be a plus.

• Exposure to manage the lifecycle of containerized applications would be a plus.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in computer science with 4+ years of experience developing full-stack services.
