Description

In this highly visible role, your primary responsibilities will include - supporting custom simulation or EM/IR solutions which scale with accuracy and capacity challenges - You are going to focus on supporting/enhancing the custom simulation flow and/or EM/IR flow as well as the opportunity to grow into the discipline - You will have shared relationships with various design groups (Physical-design and integration, Circuit-design / Power / Technology) on their EM/IR requirements for various post layout flows - Collaborate with design, CAD and EDA partners to identify flow deficiencies and provide state of art solutions

Minimum Qualifications

• • Knowledge in custom design environment and transistor level spice simulation
• • Knowledge in transistor level EMIR ( Electromigration or IR-Drop ) analysis.
• • Proficiency in at least one of programing languages: Python, Perl, C/C++ - Minimum requirement of BS and 2+ years industrial experience

• • Experience in developing transistor level simulation or EM/IR related flows and automation for better accuracy and higher performance
• • Knowledge in EMIR analysis tools and on their working principles and methods.
• • Familiar with custom design environment and flows, such as schematic/layout design, simulation, extraction, and physical verification.
• • Strong analytical skills and ability to effectively root-cause and communicate technical challenges for methodology advancement

• At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $58.61 and $88.29/hr, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
