As the AppleCare BPR Manager leading all aspects of the AppleCare Supply Chain & Logistics Portfolio, you will have primary responsibility for leading AppleCare Business Process Re-engineering (BPR) project and program managers who are passionate about initiatives that transform and deliver the goals of AppleCare Supply Chain and Logistics functions. Your team’s responsibilities will include project prioritization, technological solutions and architectural decisions, resource planning, communications, project governance, risk management, change management, and readiness. Your responsibilities include communication and strategic collaboration with AppleCare business groups, IT organizations, and teams across Apple.

Description

As a BPR Manager you will: Perform all leadership activities for staff, including recruitment, performance evaluations, professional development, and career goal setting, with a deep dedication to inclusion, diversity, and equality. Manage project prioritization and allocate personnel to projects while balancing business needs and global/regional resource plans. Lead and supervise projects implemented by your team while incorporating Apple’s standard methodologies in project management to ensure consistent and predictable delivery. Delegate tasks to team members, communicate project status clearly, manage project risks, ensure change readiness, and conduct post-implementation audit reviews. Develop positive relationships and communicate regularly with key partners to ensure the quality of products and services. Act as a subject matter expert between business and technology groups to ensure business project requirements are met with innovative and scalable technology solutions. Identify and consult on business process re-engineering opportunities and build strategic alliances to enable key change initiatives. Propose and implement strategic AppleCare BPR organizational initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 4 years leading and developing teams.

  • 6 years leading medium to large-size, global cross-functional projects.

  • Experience leading technical project managers and program managers.

  • Steady leader who maintains awareness of big-picture objectives while helping teams navigate the details.

  • Track record demonstrating thought leadership, innovation, and efficiency in influencing others.

  • Hands-on approach with the ability to dive deep into project details as needed.

  • Proven track record of managing to deadlines and meeting budget constraints.

  • Effective in managing escalations and resolving conflicts.

  • Able to facilitate executive-level cross-functional meetings and negotiate successful outcomes.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. A graduate degree is a plus.

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $184,300 and $277,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
