Prairie Ridge Health Occupational Therapist - 0.6 or 1.0 FTE in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin
Prairie Ridge Health is looking for a team member to join our Rehab Department and go above and beyond to deliver outstanding personalized care in the role of Occupational Therapist. Individuals will begin training in Columbus and then transition to the Sun Prairie Clinic (tentatively September/October of 2024). This position is 0.6 FTE (24 hours per week) or 1.0 FTE (40 hours per week) and will be responsible for providing direct patient care in a primarily outpatient and combination direct access/referral-based setting.
POSITION SUMMARY
As a staff occupational therapist at Prairie Ridge Health you will be responsible for providing direct patient care to a diverse set of patient presentations along the human lifespan continuum. Evidence-based practice will be used to evaluate and treat to identify limitations and deficits, decrease pain, restore function, and promote wellness and resiliency. The primary focus of this position is outpatient, orthopedic/musculoskeletal-focused rehabilitation services, but we do also provide care to a general medical population as a 25-bed, critical access hospital.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS/LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATION
Doctorate, master's degree or baccalaureate degree in Occupational Therapy from a fully accredited occupational therapy program.
Valid Occupational Therapy license in the State of Wisconsin
CPR certification or obtain within 90 days of hire
Experience in clinical occupational therapy, including experience working with UE injuries/post-operative protocols (shoulder, elbow, wrist, hand and finger), and neurologic involvement
New graduates, as well as experienced applicants are welcome to apply
