Job Description Summary

Reports directly to the Quality Manager, Quality Systems. Coordinates the Engineering Change Request/Order process within SAP, to include interaction with associates at all levels. Ensures all required information/data is present in the ECR/O and administers the effectivity dates of objects being revised. Performs administrative functions including the use of computer applications for word processing, spreadsheet and data base, optical computerized imaging system, and other general office equipment such as calculator, copier, telecommunication and mailing systems. In addition, this position will support to the Supplier Quality function performing material inspections and other supplier quality activities as required.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  1. Provides administrative support to ECRO originators in preparation/routing/approval of objects and ECROs in ECC6 SAP System. Reviews proposed changes to ensure correct use of standard formats and conventions.

  2. Performs document to BOM or document to document linkages in SAP as directed.

  3. Assists ECRO site training for new associates as required; also assists current ECRO users on upgrades/enhancements to the system.

  4. Archives Device History Records, production process records, laboratory results, PM records, and sterilization records, utilizing optical/computerized imaging system. Maintains archives in an orderly fashion to facilitate search and retrieval of records in a timely manner.

  5. Provides administrative support in document retrieval for complaint analysis, compliance audits and requests from other functional areas as required.

  6. Makes service calls for repairs and changes to photocopiers.

  7. Inspect incoming materials for conformance to Quality Control specification/drawings and sampling size in support of the Supplier Quality function.

  8. Understand and demonstrate usage of gauges and inspection equipment.

  9. Supporting Continual Improvement activities throughout the Quality System group as directed by the Quality Systems Manager.

  10. Observes all safety and environmental practices and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) procedures.

Minimum Requirement:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Microsoft Office Experience

  • SAP experience preferred

Work Environment:

  • False eyelashes, press-on fingernails, and Jewelry is not allowed on the production floor including dermals. Any associate wearing dermals will be required to cover them while working on the production floor.

  • Shoes are required to be Steel Toe and non-slip for all associates while on the production floor for safety purposes.
