Job Title: Skilled Production Laborer

PAY :18 an hour

Shift Times: 7:30 am - 3:30 pm, M-F, with potential overtime

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team for the 1st shift from 7am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday. This role primarily involves working within the welding and fabrication department, assisting with sanding, grinding, and deburring steel components and materials. You will also manually move materials within the facility, cross-train in the machining department to assist with machine setups and loading/unloading materials and finished products, and maintain housekeeping and area upkeep. This position requires standing all day and performing various production and labor-intensive tasks.

Essential Skills

• Experience with deburring and grinding parts

• Experience working within a welding and fabrication environment

• Proficiency with hand and power tools

• Mechanical aptitude

Work Environment

This role is based in a fabrication shop environment which is non-climate controlled. You will be required to use various tools and perform heavy lifting.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of North Charleston, South Carolina.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
