Mechanical Assembler

Shift: 1st shift, Monday - Friday

Pay: $19/hr +$1 raise every 6 months, + $4,000 in attendance bonuses + FULLY PAID FOR BENEFITS ONCE DIRECT!!!

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Assembler to join our team. The Assembler will be responsible for assembling forklifts, pallet trucks, or masts using blueprints, schematics, or verbal direction. This role involves operating overhead cranes to move larger parts or equipment, performing functional tests and inspections to ensure product quality, assembling sub-assemblies and wiring harnesses, and maintaining a clean and orderly work station.

Responsibilities

• Assemble forklifts, pallet trucks, or masts using blueprints, schematics, or verbal direction

• Operate overhead cranes to move larger parts or equipment

• Perform functional tests and inspections to ensure product quality prior to delivery to the final inspection area

• Assemble sub-assemblies and wiring harnesses and parts of the forklift

• Maintain a clean and orderly work station at all times

Essential Skills

• Experience in mechanical assembly

• Proficiency with hand and power tools

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics

• Attention to detail and quality

• Demonstrate teamwork skills

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Automobile or truck mechanic experience preferred

• Proficient computer skills required

• Must be able to work flexible hours and overtime on short notice

• Must be able to stand for an entire shift and lift up to 50 lbs

Work Environment

Shift: Mon - Thu 6am-4:30pm, Friday OT 6am-2:30pm, Saturday OT 6am-2:30pm. 2nd Shift: Mon - Thu 2pm-12:30am. This is a climate-controlled environment with opportunities for overtime.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Summerville, South Carolina.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
