Sportsman Boats Mfg. Fiberglass Laminator/Roller in Summerville, South Carolina
Sportsman Boats is looking for a Fiberglass Laminator who will be responsible for laminating layers of fiberglass on molds to form boat decks, hulls, and parts.
What you will do:
Select precut fiberglass strips and place onto prepared molds.
Pat or press layers of saturated mat or cloth into place on molds, using brushes or hands, and smooth out wrinkles and air bubbles with hands, rollers or squeegees
Mix catalysts into resins, and saturate cloth and mats with mixtures, using brushes.
Apply layers of plastic resin to mold surfaces prior to placement of fiberglass mats, repeating layers until products have the desired thicknesses and plastics have jelled.

Be responsible and come to work on time every day
Must be able to work in a non air conditioned environment
Ability to stand, bend, climb for up to 8 hours per day
