Office of Naval Intelligence GG-13 Interdisciplinary Analyst in Suitland, Maryland
The Office of Naval Intelligence's (ONI) Farragut Technical Analysis Center (TAC) has a vacancy announcement on its website that is open until 30 June for GG-13 Interdisciplinary analysts (general, computer, or electrical engineering; or naval architecture; or physics; or chemistry; or mathematics; or computer science). The individuals filling these positions will serve as all-source, Scientific and Technical Intelligence (SandTI) analysts in one of Farragut's departments and will apply analytic expertise, initiative, creativity, critical thinking, and strong communication and interpersonal skills on a daily basis to solve complex intelligence problems and drive intelligence collection efforts, providing quality strategic and SandTI analysis of foreign naval capabilities. The selected candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). ONI and its Centers are located in Suitland, MD, which is a few miles south of Washington, DC. Farragut TAC is the U.S. Navy's Center of Excellence for strategic scientific and technical intelligence (SandTI) analysis of foreign technologies, sensors, weapons, platforms, combat systems, C4ISR, and cyber capabilities.
