Job Title: Quality Assurance TechnicianJob Description
The Quality Assurance Technician is responsible for inspecting, auditing, and reporting on materials, processes, and products using measuring instruments and techniques to ensure conformance with quality standards.
Responsibilities
Perform precision measurement of equipment components as required for conformance verification to documented specifications.
Perform and maintain control of inspection, measuring, and test equipment calibration program.
Conduct product audits to documented drawings and procedures.
Communicate with other company personnel in a professional and technical manner as required in problem resolution situations.
Evaluate test reports to determine product conformance to specified requirements as required.
Maintain accurate quality records of test results and prepare non-conforming reports when required.
Conduct receiving, in-processing, and final inspections of materials and products from both internal and external sources.
Evaluate customer returned equipment for warranty consideration.
Maintain files of inspection results, test data, and performance reports.
Access calibration system to recall instruments due for calibration and issue calibrated instruments.
Essential Skills
5+ years of experience in Quality
5+ years of experience in Auditing
Experience in a manufacturing environment (open to any industry)
Experience with inspection, gauges, calibration, ISO 9001
Experience reading Engineering Drawings
Experience with SAP

Work Environment
Candidate will be in an office environment within the manufacturing floor. Candidate will have their own office and will be provided with all the resources they need to help them be successful in the role. Candidate MUST be computer savvy (understanding Pivot tables is a plus). Candidate will be on a team including 1 Inspector, 1 Documents Controller, and 1 Quality Engineer.
