ABM Industries Program Coordinator, Learning & Talent Development in Sugar Land, Texas

Overview

ABM is hiring a Learning & Talent Development (L&TD) Program Coordinator to provide broad administrative support to L&TD leaders for the efficient execution of their programs and projects. The Program Coordinator will also navigate a variety of systems to assist with reporting on the outcomes of various L&TD projects and programs and should have experience leveraging and analyzing data.

This is a Hybrid Role (in-office on Tue/Wed/Thul) located in our Sugar Land, TX office.

The ideal Program Coordinator is extremely well organized, flexible, and able to navigate the challenges and pressure of supporting a growing, evolving organization. This team member can balance multiple priorities while remaining proactive, adaptable, and efficient.

Essential Functions

  • Collaborate with L&D Program Manager to plan and coordinate program schedules and projects

  • Assist with developing and managing detailed project plans including timelines

  • Assist with coordinating various aspects of programs and projects from planning to execution

  • Monitor the progress of assigned programs and projects, and identify and resolve any issues that may hinder success

  • Analyze data to help L&TD project stakeholders report outcomes of programs and projects

  • Collaborate with L&TD leadership to implement program and project tasks / logistics to help ensure progress against milestones

  • Partner with project stakeholders to coordinate administrative tasks (i.e., meeting scheduling)

  • Communicate to L&TD Program Manager, leadership, and stakeholders about program and project progress

  • Organize and maintain program and project documentation and reports

  • Resolve program or project-related issues in a timely manner

Qualifications – Education & Experience

  • Associate degree

  • 5+ years of administrative support/program coordination experience including direct support of executive leaders

  • Advanced PC skills including advanced knowledge of the MS Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Smartsheet, and SharePoint

  • Ability to analyze and leverage data for project reporting purposes

  • Ability to forecast, see ahead and anticipate issues, revise plans, then adjusts accordingly

  • Ability to meet deadlines

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and a high level of confidentiality

Working Environment and Travel Requirements

  • Minimal travel to obtain office supplies or equipment. Possible local travel to arrangement engagement events.
