A&P Technician
Location: Sugar Grove, IL
Compensation: $22 - $40/hour
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Aviation Technician to perform maintenance, repair, and modification tasks on a range of aircraft systems and components. The role involves troubleshooting, operational checks, and post-modification testing, as well as ensuring aircraft are airworthy and ready for service. This position also requires the technician to document maintenance actions and adhere to all safety and quality standards. Experience with Falcon 50/900 models is preferred, but we will also consider applicants with strong experience in other general aviation aircraft.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform all phases of aircraft repair, maintenance, or modification on systems and components.
Conduct inspections, operational checks, and servicing, including the exchange or replacement of components.
Troubleshoot and repair aircraft systems, ensuring airworthiness and functionality.
Sign off on maintenance actions, following FARs, RSQM, and other industry regulations.
Act as cockpit coordinator for safe operation of aircraft systems during flight deck operations.
Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area, following best practices for housekeeping and safety.
Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on electrical and avionics systems.
Ensure all maintenance is performed using approved and current data, including manufacturer’s service bulletins and other reference materials.
Use and maintain tools and equipment properly, ensuring safety and preventing damage.
Complete documentation procedures and sign-offs in accordance with the Repair Station Manual and task requirements.
Participate in company training programs and strive for continuous improvements in processes and efficiency.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Must-Haves:
1-3 years of aircraft maintenance experience.
Ability to work with Dassault Falcon models (F-900, F-50, F-2000), Gulfstream, or Challenger series is a plus.
A&P License (preferred but not required).
Nice to Have:
General aviation experience.
Familiarity with heavy maintenance procedures and aircraft systems.

Performing maintenance on Dassault F-900, F-50, F-2000, Gulfstream GIII, GIV, GV, and Challenger aircraft models.
Primarily 1st shift hours.
Compensation:
$22 - $40/hour based on experience.
