DESCRIPTION OF WORK In the role of Aging Care Manager 3, you will be responsible for receiving, reviewing, and validating categories in reports of need, as well as conducting investigations in accordance with the Older Adults Protective Services Act regulations. Furthermore, you will engage in community education and outreach efforts directed at local facilities, agencies, or groups regarding protective services and the requirements for mandatory reporting.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch. This position may require travel and overtime. Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices.   REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year as an Aging Care Manager 2 or Aging Program Assessor; or One and one-half years of professional human services, law enforcement, or nursing experience; and a bachelor's degree in social sciences, behavioral sciences, human services, or a closely related field; or An equivalent combination of experience and training which includes six months of professional human services, law enforcement, or nursing experience. You must be able to perform essential job functions. Legal Requirements: This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act. Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance. This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law. Under the Law, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports including, but not limited to, PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI Fingerprint clearance.
