ABOUT THE ROLE

Holcim US is recruiting for a full-time Aggregate Mobile Mechanic at the Stringtown, OK Quarry.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• As directed and guided by the Operations Manager, the responsibilities of the position include the following:

• Demonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving, and adhering to safety policies in all work environments and areas.

• Maintains, inspects, repairs mobile equipment in accordance with instructions, equipment manuals, etc. May perform maintenance on plant equipment as well.

• Performs preventative maintenance on mobile and plant equipment.

• Inspects mobile and plant equipment to make certain that they do not require repair.

• Disassembles and repairs machinery or equipment by replacing worn or broken parts.

• Communicates and promotes safety, compliance and environmental requirements in alignment with company standards.

• Schedules and performs preventative maintenance on mobile and plant equipment by following the manufacturer’s recommended service intervals and internal equipment reliability experience.

• Inspection of condition and operation of plant and mobile equipment and perform necessary repairs and adjustments.

• Provides leadership and/or guidance to less experienced mechanics on more complex or heavier assignments. Coordinates work to ensure that repairs are completed in a timely manner and according in order of priority. May train new employees

• Travel to various aggregate sites will be needed.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• High school diploma or GED

• Minimum of 3-4 years experience in mechanical repair, installation, and construction in the industrial environment

• Must have a working knowledge of electrical and mechanical as well as the use of all shop equipment such as welding and machining equipment.

Additional Requirements:

• Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving, and adhering to health, safety, and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.

• Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Holcim-approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Subject to applicable law, employees who are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
