Description

We have an immediate opportunity for a Medical Receptionist in the Non-Profit sector, located in Bridgeport, Connecticut. This role will be centered around the facilitation of clinic scheduling, data entry, and customer service in a medical setting.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently process patient appointments and scheduling

• Maintain meticulous patient records through data entry tasks

• Provide excellent customer service by answering inbound calls and addressing patient inquiries

• Utilize the EHR system and Epic EMR for patient scheduling and managing electronic medical records

• Handle medical billing functions and ensure accuracy in all financial transactions

• Check patients in and out during their clinic visits

• Continually learn and adapt to new systems such as PyraMed

• Respond to feedback and implement changes to improve efficiency and accuracy

• Create charts and graphs to represent patient data and trends

• Monitor patient accounts and take appropriate actions when necessary.

Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Medical Receptionist in a non-profit setting.

• Proficiency in using EHR System for managing patient data.

• Ability to promptly answer and effectively manage inbound calls.

• Experience in handling billing functions, including insurance verifications and payment processing.

• Competency in generating charts and graphs for patient records and medical reports.

• Skill in checking patients in and out, and managing patient flow.

• Proficiency in using Electronic Medical Record (EMR), specifically Epic EMR.

• Experience in patient scheduling, ensuring efficient management of appointments.

• Strong data entry skills, with keen attention to detail and accuracy.
