Job Details Level Experienced Job Location ES Main - Stow, OH Position Type Full Time Education Level 4 Year Degree Job Category Engineering Description Description EnviroScience is seeking to add a full-time Civil or Environmental Engineer, with stormwater and wastewater experience to our team of highly respected engineers and scientists. Our ideal candidate will take an active role in a fast-paced, multifaceted area of water/wastewater engineering. Responsibilities Design and construction support for storm water systems, water/wastewater treatment, distribution/collection systems. Communicating with various clients and stakeholders to deliver designs and documentation to clients. Assisting project team members to complete planning, design, and construction phase services on stormwater, wastewater, reuse infrastructure projects, and treatment systems. Preparing technical memoranda, reports, drawings, specifications, and other project related documents. Provide technical support on water resources or treatment issues to government agencies. Conduct water quality studies to identify and characterize water pollutant sources. Construction project specific cost estimating, development of project specifications, and preparation of bid documents Provide oversight for project development and QA/QC of work products. Qualifications Having a strong desire to improve the environment while working as a client advocate is at the core of what we do. The ideal candidate for this position would be a design minded, environmentally focused individual with the following qualifications: Bachelor's degree in civil engineering is required. Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.), or E.I. with ability to obtain P.E. within 12 months. Minimum 5 years' experience in Civil Engineering. Demonstrated experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D for civil engineering-related projects including stormwater and hydraulic design. Experience with NPDES water quality standards is a plus. Ability to work independently, self-critique work, and multi-task regularly in a fast-paced environment with multiple changes, accepting responsibility for critical work products and meeting tight deadlines. Ability to understand and follow complex written and oral instructions and the ability to clearly communicate information both verbally and in writing. A hybrid work from home and in office schedule will be entertained.
