We are in the process of expanding our team and are currently on the lookout for a Sr. Accountant. The role is based in a town a little north of Ames. As a Sr. Accountant, your primary responsibilities will include account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and bank reconciliations among other duties.

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring accurate account reconciliation, keeping track of financial discrepancies and resolving them promptly

• Overseeing balance sheet reconciliation, regularly reviewing and updating financial records

• Managing bank reconciliations, verifying transactions and rectifying any inconsistencies

• Maintaining the general ledger, assuring the accuracy and completeness of all financial data

• Preparing and posting journal entries, ensuring each transaction is recorded correctly

• Utilizing Microsoft Excel for data entry, analysis, and financial reporting

• Coordinating the month-end close process, ensuring all financial data is updated and accurate

• Operating NetSuite for financial management and planning

• Managing financial data in Oracle, ensuring data integrity and security

• Handling financial operations on SAP, ensuring smooth execution of financial processes.

Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is required

• Balance Sheet Reconciliation expertise is a must

• Must possess skills in Bank Reconciliations

• General Ledger knowledge is crucial for this role

• Proficient in making Journal Entries

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel are necessary

• Ability to handle Month End Close tasks efficiently

• Experience with NetSuite is a requirement

• Familiarity with Oracle is needed

• SAP competency is essential for this role.
