Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Work with a computerized maintenance system to track work orders and preventative maintenance. Read PLC programs and troubleshoot mechanical systems, including bearings, gear drives, and chain drives. Troubleshoot pneumatic and fluid systems as well as control voltage level electrical issues (24VDC), including sensors, circuit boards, and actuators. Maintain building systems such as HVAC, lighting, security, and surrounding grounds. Perform fabrication and welding assignments, and carry out electrical wiring and conduit installation.

Hard Skills

• 1+ year of PLC experience - diagnosing and repairing PLC issues, troubleshooting PLC

• 1+ year of AC/DC diagnostic repair

• Welding

• Repair

• Schematics

• HVAC knowledge

Job Type

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Story City, Iowa.

Work Environment

Temperature-controlled manufacturing environment. Schedule: 7:00am - 7:00pm or 7:00pm - 7:00am (2-2-3 rotation) 2 months days and 1 month nights. Maintenance team size: 20 across all shifts. PPE required: steel toes, hair net/beard net, safety glasses, gloves.
