Stony Brook Medicine (University Hospital) Clinical Lab Technologist in Stony Brook, New York
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: Perform laboratory testing in all areas of the laboratory including (but not limited to) Blood Bank, Chemistry, Coagulation, Hematology, Urinalysis, Immunology, and Microbiology (planting and gram stains). As a Laboratory Technologist you will perform clinical laboratory procedures, examinations and other tests pursuant to established protocols including maintaining equipment and records, and performing quality assurance activities related to examination performance requiring the exercise of independent judgement and responsibility.
