Sartorius Additive Manufacturing Technician in Stonehouse, United Kingdom
We are looking for an Additive Manufacturing Technician to join our team in Stonehouse.
We are looking for an Additive Manufacturing Technician to support our Production department at Sartorius Stedim Lab Ltd. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, operation and part production of all Additive Manufacturing machines in our production facility in line with our production schedule.
The team consists of four professionals, and we are looking forward to shaping the future with you.
This position is available for full-time, based on site in Stonehouse.
Grow with us – Your Responsibilities
On a daily basis you will complete maintenance checks on our machines and the facility. This includes operation and part production, health monitoring, recording and reporting as well as supporting with equipment installation and validation
You will participate in the development of new systems and processes, to improve the efficiency of the facility and part production
Do you enjoy being hands on, contributing to the site’s success? You will be an integral part of the site, being the first point of contact for machine maintenance, ensuring all machines are running to keep up with a busy production schedule
In addition, you will handle all documentation in relation to repairs, build preparation, part ordering, operation and material specifications
You will work closely with suppliers and customers, ordering and controlling the stock of raw materials
What will convince us
Previous experience in polymer based additive manufacturing
Strong planning and organisational skills, with a proactive approach
Experience in ISO 9001 or in a highly regulated environment
Enjoy problem solving with the ability to prioritise workload, working to tight deadlines
Strong attention to detail ensuring all work is completed to a high standard
Enjoy working as part of a team
