Responsibilities
Job Summary:
Under the direction of the Radiologist the Radiology Technologist (Mammography Technologist) performs a variety of digital mammography procedures including screening and diagnostic exams wire localizations galactography biopsy procedures DEXA exams and quality control. This position requires the ability to work independently provide excellent patient care and communication and demonstrate a commitment to the Core Values. The Radiology Technologist (Mammography Technologist) ensures that high quality care is provided to the patient while meeting the needs of the organization regulatory agencies physicians and staff. This position requires a working knowledge and experience in Digital Mammography sterile technique and documentation and record keeping. This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of the Organization. It is expected that the employee will demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values. The employee shall support the Organization's strategic plan and the goals and direction of the Performance Improvement Plan (PIP).

Qualifications
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years prior experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
Current CA Radiology Technologist license
Current Mammographic Permit
Current BLS Certification
Digital Training Documentation
Graduate of an AMA accredited Radiologic Technology Program
Must provide documentation of Digital Mammography training (8 hrs) Mammography Experience (200 exams in previous 24 months) and Mammography Continuing Education (15 hrs in previous 36 months).
Able to operate radiologic equipment
Good communication and patient care skills.
Preferred:
ARRT Certificate
IV Certification
Associates Degree
Pay Range
$54.04 - $62.65 /hour
