We are the Swedish engineering sales team. We are a highly motivated team of Solutions Engineers who partner with Account Managers, Partners, and Customers to ensure the best possible solutions. We develop next-generation IT solutions for the future of our country. We drive the Secure Digitalization of companies and organisations in Sweden with passion and great knowledge. We have been in roles from 1 year to 20+ years and support and empower each other to be the best team and to have fun. We have a wide range of interests outside of work, but we all love technology (and most of us have built our own Cisco network in our homes)!
Your Impact
As a Solutions Engineer based in Sweden, you will team up with Cisco Sales team and partners to assist with architectural and technical sales activities for new and existing opportunities. You will apply your in-depth knowledge of Cisco's solutions to demonstrate competitive advantages over industry players to both prospective customers and partners. This position provides career development through the direct daily interaction with customers and partners, opportunities to travel for customer and partner visits, and the internal cross function collaboration with other teams at Cisco.
Minimum Qualifications
3 - 5 years' of proven experience within sales engineering capacity or minimum 5+ years' as an enterprise networking engineering who is looking to move into a pre sales environment.
Expert knowledge in networking, wireless site surveys, large campus network design, network security strategies, capacity planning, and common networking deployment challenges.
Familiarity with campus LAN design including building redundant networks, routing protocol design, and high availability strategies (multicast, VLAN’s, RSTP, OSPF, VRRP, DHCP, TCP, UDP, ARP, DSCP, AAA/RADIUS).
Familiarity with wireless networking fundamentals including site survey activities, high density planning/troubleshooting, and roaming (802.11a/b/g/n/ac/Wifi6/Wifi7, WPA2/3, 802.1x, EAP, 802.11r, PMK, OKC, 802.11e/WMM, BYOD).
Preferred Qualifications
- CCNA, CWNA, CCNP, CCDP, CCIE are a plus.
