Provides labor to move materials as required by various University departments.
Operate vans, trucks, utility vehicles, trailers and other equipment to collect and/or relocate campus materials.
Provides physical labor necessary to set up and take down special events.
Overtime is an essential function of this position and may require work during non-business hours (evenings, weekends, & when OSU is closed).
Some irregular and extra hours as needed for projects and emergencies (emergencies can frequently involve difficult working conditions.)
Must work well with students, faculty & staff at all levels within a diverse, multi-cultural, collaborative environment
This position is heavy in manual labor and requires the physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and in excess of 50 pounds occasionally.
Regularly stands, lifts, bends, stoops, lifts above shoulders and carries 50 lbs or more.
Regular exposure to disagreeable conditions, extreme temperature changes, odors and loud noises.
Must be able to perform snow and ice removal tasks and respond at any time of the day or night when scheduled by management regardless of weather conditions.

Appropriate PPE (personal protective equipment), gloves, safety glasses, etc. are provided for use in the workplace. Must adhere to all safety requirements, and promote work safety.
