Bluestone Physician Services Vice President of Product in Stillwater, Minnesota

Under our model of care, Bluestone patients experienced 21% fewer ER visits, 36% fewer hospitalizations and 41% fewer hospital readmissions compared to patients with similar conditions and complexities over the same time period. 

Our care teams travel directly to patients who reside in Assisted Living, Memory Care and Group Home communities throughout Minnesota, Wisconsin and Florida and are supported by clinical operations and administrative colleagues who work remotely or at our corporate offices in Stillwater, Minnesota, and Tampa, Florida.

Position Overview :

The Vice President of Product, reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, will have direct responsibility for product strategy, development, marketing and sales for new products at Bluestone Physician Services. The VP of Product will develop the three-year strategic product roadmap in line with our Vision, Values and Goals. The VP of Product will work closely with every department to improve our current  products and bring new products to market.

Responsibilities :

  • Provide leadership and work across functional areas to drive the product strategy and roadmap including:

  • GUIDE

  • Chronic Complex VBC MSO

  • New Products

  • Define markets for Bluestone’s current products along with marketing and sales strategies for these products

  • Build trusted relationships across the company and work directly with operational leaders to influence changes that lead to improved products and offerings that can be taken to new markets

  • Own the product roadmap for a subset of products; prioritizing long-term and short-term initiatives that are aimed at driving growth for Bluestone

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to create effective relationships, listen, communicate, influence, and collaborate at all organizational levels

  • Continuously manage expectations with all relevant stakeholders including the senior leadership team

  • Proactively identify and resolve strategic issues that may impair the organization’s ability to meet its strategic and financial goals

  • Create and maintain sequencing of initiatives, prioritization and tradeoffs with regards to both short-term and long-term strategic goals

  • Work with other business partners to perform deep data driven analysis, to surface actionable insights and product requirements; drive the implementation of recommendations derived from this analysis

  • Drive cross-functional strategic projects by leading and driving cross-functional strategic projects

  • Influence and collaborate with others to translate strategic opportunities into deliverable projects; measure and report on the business impact of such projects

  • Bring market insights and drive change to products to drive growth

  • Lead development of new products and/or drive engagement with current customers in order to drive outcomes and impact revenue

  • Be a voice of the user, our customers and a voice of the market

    Qualifications :

    Education/Certification/Experience

  • Master’s degree preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • 7 or more years of product development and management

  • 5 or more years of progressive team leadership

  • 3 or more years of experience in health care required
