JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job ID: 21112 Position Title: Assistant Professor of Educational Foundations TTC Title and Code: Assistant Professor (FA040) FTE: 100% Principal Work Location: UW-Stevens Point Main Campus, College of Professional Studies Supervisor: Assistant Dean, Head of the School of Education JOB DETAILS: The School of Education is committed to fostering an equitable, diverse, inclusive, and socially just community. The successful candidate for this position will teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Pluralism, Educational Psychology, and Professional Issues to elementary, early childhood, physical education, secondary education and/or special education majors. Additionally, this candidate must have a strong background and knowledge of WI State Statue, Act 31. The ability to develop and maintain collaborative and productive working relationships with local school systems is required. Other responsibilities will involve scholarship, department service, advising, mentoring and professional development. This position may include student teacher supervision. A demonstrated ability to build relationships with students and colleagues. High-quality written and verbal communication skills. Willingness to travel regionally (including valid WI driver\'s license). Demonstrated technology skills (e.g., digital platforms, social media, webpages, spreadsheets). Preferred Qualifications Experience mentoring student/intern pre-service teachers. Experience with peer coaching and feedback for both pre-service and in-service teachers. Experience in collaborative and/or inclusionary settings. Demonstrated commitment to reflective teaching practices. Experience and evidence of success with college level instruction.
