JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job ID: 21068 Position Title: Nontraditional Student Services Coordinator TTC Title and Code: Adult & Student Services Coordinator FTE: 100% Principal Work Location: UW-Stevens Point Main Campus Supervisor: Samantha Samreth, Director Position Summary This position reports directly to the Director for Diversity and College Access (DCA). The Nontraditional Student Coordinator serves as a spokesperson and advocate on matters pertaining to student success by connecting them to on- and off campus resources to support their transition to campus and providing them the resources for their personal, academic, and professional development through coaching and referral as needed. The goal is to provide students with a safe and welcoming environment that supports connection, access, authenticity, and sense of belonging. This position works to ensure students receive timely, accurate, and holistic advising, coaching and referrals to promote student success, retention, and persistence. The Nontraditional Student Services Coordinator is housed in the Department of Diversity and College Access Department with the division of student of student affairs. Shift: 8:00am-5:00pm, Monday-Friday. Some Evening and Weekend hours will be required. Preferred Qualifications - Master\'s degree in education, counseling, social work, student personnel or related field. -Two or more years of experience working with students in post-secondary education. - Shared similar lived experience as students served in the program. - Demonstrated commitment to equity and social justice coupled with strong interpersonal, communication, and management skills with the ability to work effectively within a diverse setting. ***** APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: Apply Online: www.careers.wisconsin.edu
