Onsite About Nightwing Intelligence Solutions

The Nightwing Intelligence Solutions business provides technically advanced full-spectrum cyber, data operations, systems integration, and intelligence mission support services to meet our customers' most technical challenges. Our capabilities include cyberspace operations, cyber defense and resiliency, vulnerability research, ubiquitous technical surveillance, data intelligence, lifecycle mission enablement, and software modernization. Nightwing brings disruptive technologies, agility, and competitive offerings to customers in the intelligence community, defense, civil, and commercial markets. Nightwing is seeking an Information Technology Intern with the technical and communication skills needed to support ongoing corporate needs Dulles, Virginia location. Candidates must be professional, self-starters, possess a positive attitude, and work well with engineering and technician teams. This position is an onsite role, required to be available on-site at Dulles, VA as needed. Responsibilities to Anticipate Support multidisciplinary engineering activities and senior engineers on various projects within the organization’s critical assets Design and analysis of tools/mechanisms, Microsoft M365, networking, Cloud or similar tools is required

Required Qualifications Must be enrolled in a degree program related to Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems discipline with an expected graduation date by start of internship GPA of 3.0+ in a 4.0 grade scale The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required Background check and drug screen required (every external new hire in the U.S.) Drug screen only performed on re-hires who have been gone for more than 1 year

Desired Qualifications A passion to learn something new every day and to stay up-to-date with developments in your field Adept at independent problem-solving and comfortable with a general approach of taking initiative to find and develop solutions Fundamental network engineering skills and knowledge Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, M365 and cloud environment A strong communicator with others, both written and verbal Attention to detail: must pay strong attention to detail in order to be able to keep information accurate and organized while utilizing skills and knowledge to quickly learn about the project
