BAE Systems isactively seeking a Deputy Program Manager with a minimum of 11 years' experienceto join our technology-based program supporting a key government customer.As the Deputy PM, you will support the Program Manager inoverseeing and leading a visible technical program to deliver a Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) cloud solution, with network, security, and O&M services across multiple classification levels in the environment.Responsibilities of the program manager include customer engagement, monthly program reviews, hiring and retention of top engineering talent, and driving the advancement of core technologies and contractual deliverables. The program manager must be ready to adapt quickly, locate areas for improvement and drive positive change.
As a Technical Program Manager, you will:
Possess over 5 years of experience providing program management for large-scale engineering services programs in support of a top tier US Intelligence Agency in excess of $100M lifecycle value
Possess over 5 years of experience working on Intelligence Agency enterprise infrastructure and engineering programs, including on-site customer engagement
Support contract execution by interacting directly with our team members providing customer support to a dispersed customer base
Interface with the customer, maintain and promote positive relationships
Deliver contract deliverables, including PMR, BMR, financials and other customer status updates
Prepare program execution plans and identify technical and business resource needs
Coordinate project activities, deliverables, and action items
Understand and adhere to applicable standards and laws, coordinating with various departments for successful program execution
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Bachelor s degree in engineering, management, business, or related fieldPMI Certified Program Management Professional (PMP)
Demonstrated ability to manage and lead a team of 15
Experience staffing medium sized contractual efforts
Experience with agile development, scrum, and JIRA
Experience leading and managing Engineering and Development teams in an agile workspace
Ability to ensure team produces quality deliverables gather data, create metrics and reporting for internal and external leadership
Ability to represent the team and deliver status reports to internal and externalleadership
Excellent organizational and follow throughskills
Excellent communication (written and verbal)skills
Detail oriented
Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve
Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically excel and PowerPoint
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Over 10 years of experience providing program management for large-scale engineering services programs in support of a top tier US Intelligence Agency in excess of $100M lifecycle value
Over 15 years of experience working on Intelligence Agency enterprise infrastructure and engineering programs, including on-site customer engagement
Experience with developing and delivering on cost plus based program efforts
Master s degree in engineering, management, business, or related fields.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $140690 - $239140
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
