Manpower of Dixon is searching for a recruiter to handle end to end recruiting process for our clients. This includes sourcing, interviewing, and placing candidates across various departments. This role involves collaborating with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Talent Sourcing and Recruitment:

  2. Develop and execute recruiting strategies to attract top talent.

  3. Source candidates through various channels including job boards, social media, and networking events.

  4. Review resumes, conduct initial phone screens, and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.

  5. Candidate Management:

  6. Manage the candidate experience from initial contact through onboarding.

  7. Provide timely feedback to candidates and keep them informed throughout the hiring process.

  8. Conduct reference checks and background screenings as needed.

  9. Collaboration with Hiring Managers:

  10. Partner with hiring managers to understand their hiring needs and job requirements.

  11. Advise on job descriptions, candidate profiles, and interview processes.

  12. Assist in developing and refining job descriptions to ensure alignment with departmental and organizational goals.

  13. Recruitment Administration:

  14. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidate interactions and status in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).

  15. Prepare and present reports on recruitment metrics and performance.

  16. Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations throughout the recruitment process.

  17. Market Research and Trend Analysis:

  18. Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in recruiting and talent acquisition.

  19. Analyze market data to identify trends and provide recommendations for improving recruitment strategies.

  20. Employer Branding:

  21. Promote the company’s brand and culture to attract high-quality candidates.

  22. Represent the company at job fairs, networking events, and other recruitment-related activities.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

  • Experience: 2-4 years of experience in recruitment or staffing, with a proven track record of successful hires.

  • Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment tools.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.

Preferred:

  • Professional certification in HR (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.

  • Experience in a specific industry relevant to the company's needs.

Working Conditions:

  • Office environment with occasional travel to job fairs and recruitment events.

  • Standard working hours with occasional extended hours depending on recruitment needs.
