Job Description

A large Automotive client is looking for a Rotar and Stator Process Engineer to support E-Motors. This person will be working directly with engineering team to help build E-Motors. This person will need to have knowledge and experience with hair pin winging. They will also help with reduction of scrap of E-Motors. There is over $16M in scrap last year, looking for someone to evaluate the data on scrap and help drill down resolution to closure the causal factors. Will require someone with Six-Sigma methodology experience and most likely mechanical engineering background in manufacturing to drill down to root cause and help the team develop permanent corrective actions. Could be operational methods including development of single point lessons, visual aids, DMAIC development, etc.

Skills and Requirements

* Stator and Rotor experience, building the electric motor

* Hair Pin winding experience (winding technology for stators in electric motor)

* 2+ years working in Manufacturing hands on experience in Plant environment

* OEM experience (ex Ford, Chrysler, GM, Toyota etc.)

* Six Sigma experience

* Mechanical Engineering background

* Anyone working at Tesla, LG, Rivian or JJE would be highly preferred

* Bachelor's Degree in Engineer is preferred null
