Adecco is looking for multiple quality control inspectors in the Sterling Height’s, MI Area. Quality control, as well as use of micrometers, gauges, and precision measuring tools is a MUST. The client is running 1st shift ONLY, Mon - Fri, 10-hour days. Shift start times are between 5:00 AM and 6:00 AM. They are also doing half days on Saturdays when needed. Job title : Quality Control Inspector

Job Summary The candidate will work as a Quality Control Inspector, responsible for inspecting materials and finished products to ensure they meet strict specifications through visual and measurement testing. They will document inspection results and maintain quality standards by operating measurement equipment and adhering to regulations.

MUST HAVE REQUIREMENTS:

• 2-4 years of quality control experience

• Use of gauges, micrometers, and other measuring tools

Skill Requirements

Must-Have Requirements :

• Experience in performing quality control tasks

• Ability to read blueprints and navigate CAD models

• Proficiency with measuring instruments like micrometers and gauges

• Strong understanding of metrology

• Ability to inspect products against set specifications

Preferred Requirements :

• Knowledge of quality control techniques such as Six Sigma

• Experience in a manufacturing environment

Skill Education

• Quality Control : Involves processes that ensure products meet required specifications before reaching customers.

• Inspection : The examination of materials or products for compliance with specified standards.

• Specifications : Detailed descriptions of the requirements a product must meet.

• Measurement Testing : Using tools to determine if dimensions or characteristics meet specified criteria.

• Metrology : The science of measurement, crucial for ensuring precision in manufacturing.

• Blueprints/CAD Models : Technical drawings or digital models that guide the production process.

• Micrometers/Gauges/Calipers: Precision tools used for measuring small distances or thicknesses accurately.

Pay Details: $18.00 to $21.00 per hour
